The MWHEEL Air is designed primarily for flat, level surfaces and is best suited for use only with a caregiver. While capable of handling slopes, caregiver assistance is recommended, especially on uneven or inclined terrain, where more precise control is needed.

For optimal battery use, mixed operation is recommended—manual pushing for slow, steady movement and motorised mode when needed. The electromagnetic brakes function only when the battery is powered on; switch off the battery for manual use.
